Thank you for your interest in Aloha Sangha.  Please visit our new site here:

If this is your first visit you might want to have a look at the about page.

We meet Thursdays, from 6 to 7:30 pm at 2601 Ferdinand Avenue, in Lower Manoa. Beginners are always welcome.

We are very informal–no fees, nothing you have to commit to, we simply offer this as a community service. We have no need to charge money as these meetings are held in our home. The sessions have been ongoing in our home, with occasional breaks, for over 12 years now.

We begin the sessions with slow, easy, gentle movement (yoga and qi-gong based) for the first 30 minutes; guided meditation follows for another 30 minutes. We end our time together with a short talk and discussion period, with snacks and tea, which we provide.

If you have an exercise or yoga mat it please bring it, as we only have a few extra ones, and often here are not enough to go around. If you don’t have one, it will be alright to borrow one for your first visit. There usually are enough meditation cushions for everyone, but if you have one, it would be good to bring that as well.

Here is a link to Google Maps  to get an idea where we live.

    Dear Tom and Katina:
Thanks so much for opening your home to us so that we could experience Greg Goode. I wrote an email to him and embedded the last section on my blog. If I can find someone with the right software to remove the traffic noise, I’ll embed the other 2 or 3 sections.
    Metta and mahalo,

    Alton Slater aka Komo Kasha
